4.1 Non-Refundable DepositTHE DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE UNDER ALL CIRCUMSTANCES. Upon receipt of the deposit, Chandler Morrison will reserve the wedding date exclusively and will decline all other inquiries for that date. The deposit compensates for this lost opportunity regardless of whether the wedding proceeds.
4.2 Cancellation by ClientsMore than 60 days before wedding: deposit forfeited, no additional fees. 31–60 days: deposit forfeited plus 50% of remaining balance. 30 days or fewer: full contract amount is due.
4.3 Cancellation by OfficiantIf Chandler Morrison cannot perform due to medical emergency or circumstances beyond his control, he will make every reasonable effort to find a qualified substitute. If none available, a full refund of all payments will be issued.
4.4 ReschedulingOne date change permitted at no charge if the new date is available and written notice is given 30+ days before the original date. Fewer than 30 days notice is treated as cancellation.
4.5 Marriage LicenseClients are responsible for obtaining a valid Texas marriage license from a county clerk before the ceremony. A ceremony without a valid license will not be legally recognized.
4.6 Officiant DutiesChandler Morrison agrees to: officiate professionally; conduct at least one pre-ceremony consultation; arrive 30+ minutes before the ceremony; sign the marriage license; return it to the county clerk within 30 days.
4.7 Limitation of LiabilityTotal liability of Chandler Morrison shall not exceed the total amount paid by Clients. He shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
4.8 Governing LawThis Agreement is governed by Texas law. Disputes are subject to Dallas County, Texas courts. This Agreement supersedes all prior conversations. Amendments must be in writing signed by both parties.
4.9 Electronic SignatureA typed name as signature constitutes a legally binding signature pursuant to the Texas Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (Tex. Bus. & Com. Code § 322.001 et seq.).
